My GGgrandfather was William Franklin Hempstead. I am trying to find out more information about him. He was married to Phebe A. Jessup Born December 4, 1869, Died April 2, 1926. I have conflicting stories about his Life. In some information I found in my grandfathers things, it says that he was born in 1865 and died in 1927 and has possible parents as Joseph Hempstein and Elanore Smith? The health deparment in Rolling Prairie IN says he was born February 17 1868 and died December 7 1935. This report says parents unknown.
If anyone has any information that can help me out, I would really appreciate it.
