There was a Hemphill family in Seattle, WA in the 1920s. My great-grandfather John Wall lived in Auburn WA and remarried a woman named Pauline. She may have been from the Hemphill family of Seattle, WA. Pauline was interested in business, and the couple had a bottling works business in Auburn, WA. It's a long shot, but any bells ringing?
