Anyone out there related to David E. Nathan Hemphill? I've just started my family tree recently due to attending a funeral at the old Sardis cemetery last year. I took several pictures of the tombstones, one of which was a Confederate Soldier...my great, great, great grandfather, David E. Nathan Hemphill! I would love to connect with anyone in my extended Hemphill family. My dad is Jimmy Dale Hemphill, and his father was Clay Hemphill whose parents were John Henry Hemphill and Willie A. Hemphill (Vaughn). John H.'s parents were William Wallis "Pinkie" Hemphill and Henrietta Maxey. And William Wallis Hemphill was the son of David E. Nathan Hemphill and Elizabeth Cathrine Price. I would love to dig further if anyone has any info. on our cool family!
