Since Abraham Sr. did not marry Mary Wilson until 1775, Elizabeth must be the daughter of Abraham's first wife--whoever she was. Did the wife come with Abraham Sr. to Virginia in the late 1760's, or did she remain in NY/NJ, perhaps having died there? I'm guessing she probably remained in NY/NJ. We assume that Abraham Jr. remained in NY until after the Revolutionary War since he was a young soldier in a NY regiment. Did his sister Elizabeth then accompany him to Virginia around 1782/3? It's a reasonable possibility. By that time Abraham Sr. was living in Greenbrier Co. From there he played matchmaker, matching Elizabeth with one of his former Doe Hill Wilson neighbors. Then doing the same thing later for his niece Hannah and stepson Elibab.
