If the affluent banker was Louis Hemp, there is a lot of information about the family available.

My G-Grandmother was Anna Narre, the second wife of Edwin Hemp, one of Louis' son. I am in contact with descendants of two other sons, Joseph and William. I still live in St. Louis.
