I have an Isaac Hemingway in Cumberland County,NC born 1829 and married Louisa Maria Denning(called Eliza)there in 1839.He was the son of Micajah Hemenway and Mary Whitehead. Isacc was on 1850 census with Mary and Micajah dead by then. Marriage records in Cumberland County,NC show Mary Whitehead marrying Micajah Hemenway(1821) Since Mary and Micajah had been married for at least nine years before Isaac was born I feel there were other Hemingway children by them and by the 1850 census were married and living in other parts of NC or even SC. Isaac Hemingway died 1879 and buried in Linden,NC.Eliza died 1918 and buried in Linden,NC. Eliza's father was Uriah Denning b 1804 Wayne County,NC. How do you connect to this Hemingway line? Ruth
