Hi Rick!What information in particular are you interested in?I think we are chasing some of the same information, but not having much success.Most of the info on John b. 1731 that I have I got from the same source as you did, Dale Standifer. This is not my direct line so I haven't spent a lot of time on it.I decend from James b. 1729.Also, I doubt very much that these boys were born in Spartenburg because it didn't exist then.The only people who lived in that area then were Cherokee Indians.The Hembrees, of Welsh descent, most likely came from Barbados through North Carolina, in the early 1750s, according to family tradition.I would very much like to prove this one way or another.This is the kind of information that I am looking for.How about you?
