I checked a little further and in the Family Trees section on ancestry some are saying that she was buried in Jefferson County TN. They put her death at 1910. They also list Jefferson County as the area of her birth. They have the Medlin family coming out of Jacobs Fork in NC at Toluca. I know that there were several Helton families in this area of NC. They are still there. Banister Medlin father of James was married to a Brewer. Going by memory but check the family trees on Ancestry, seems like there is a lot of information on this family there. This is not our Helton family.
