Judith

I have been away for awhile. Did your line test their DNA and could you share that information of whom they might have matched?
We have a Ransom Helton in our family and I think another Ransom fought in the Civil War out of White County.

Would like to know more about this family of Edward.

Our families ties to VA.
Abraham Helton married to Katie Owl joined the Rev. War out of Henrico VA. Our Indian bunch were out of there at some point. Tom Hilton our first Indian with a English name lived in Lunenburg VA and then moved to the Dan River area in Stokes Co. NC. Most Hilton, Helton and Hylton lines come out of this area. Maybe more DNA testing would go a long way to figuring this out.

Keep going and if we find anything we will pass it on.

Mike
