decendants of john hilton new kent va. in tn. early 1800's

looking for all hylton/hilton/helton that moved from western part of va. 1780-1813 into tn. edward of white co. is the only one i know of for sure. there was a john 1820 census and james 1823 land grant both in white co. tn. that could be edwards sons.edwards wife sarah woody helton and kids could have moved to lincoln co. tn.[ woody gen.]. i am trying to determine if edward and sarah or one of thier sons or another helton could be the father of my caswell helton bn. 1813 tn. and only record is 1850 census giles co. tn.of caswell helton.the dna is the only break i have had in 45 years. thanks for any info.
