Hello Renee,
I was sent a link today about Louis and Julianna (Matyas) Chubboy. I am a great granddaughter of them, my grandmother being "Julie" although her full name is Julianna, per her marriage certificate that my dad, Elmer Kermit Matto, has. There is some disagreement in birthdates for some of the children , my grand mother being one, between the records that I have and those in the posting.
It also means that I am a relative of the Helterbrans. In fact there was a Helterbran-Chubboy reunion this last weekend in Carnegie, PA. The reunion is an annual event, at least for the past several years, held the weekend after July 4th. Without digging through all the papers that I have for information I can say that Helen, Ruth and William are still alive. Dad saw them last weekend. I know for sure that Raymond and David have passed away. Raymond's date of death is June 26, 1987. I do not have a date for Dave. Raymond was the principal of South Mifflin High School, a district south of Pittsburgh near the Allegheny Co. Airport. David retired with the rank of Colonel in the US Army. Don;t know the year.
