Helmick/Colaw

I know this is a long shot but I've got to try....there are 2 stories being passed along but neither has been verified. I'm looking for information on the Helmick girl described below.

Approximately 1880ish a young Helmick girl (probably born around 1860) thought to be named Sarah, Sallie or Ginny either (1)worked in the Allen & Roxanna Colaw home as a housekeeper and had a child by one of their sons, Wilbur Colaw, or, (2) Wilbur Colaw was a school teacher and the young Helmick girl that had a child by Wilbur was one of Wilbur's students.

The child born to Wilbur Colaw and the Helmick girl was named William HELMICK since the Colaws would not accept him as one of their own.

Does anyone know anything about this young Helmick girl? She would have been my great-grandmother.
