Need to identify the parents of Mary Helm, born 16 Jan 1801, likely in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, who married John Armstrong circa 1818 in Lancaster County. She probably lived in Strasburg Township where three Helm were found in the 1800 census: George, age 16 thru 25; John, age 45 and over; and Jacob, age 26 thru 44. John and Mary (Helm) Armstrong in Sadsbury Twp. in 1830, Strasburg Twp. in 1840; Paradise Twp. in 1850, and by 1860 had settled in Wayne County, Indiana. Mary died there 16 May 1879 at age 78. The couple had 14 children; all but two also went west to Indiana.
