I thought a Plumer (Plumber) was a person who worked with lead as in lead pipes.Does the work of a plumer include work with copper as well?
A hellyer was a person who used a variety of roofing materials rather than only one such as tile (Tyler)or Thatch (Thatcher). Many experts believe the name derives from the "heeling" or curve of the tile or thatch.Others believe it comes from the curved mound left when a farmer plows a furrow.
