Since I posted my last message on the Heinsohn family, I have learned much more about this family thanks to Paul Scheele, a great genealogist.
The first Heinsohn that shows up in my family is:
Claus Heinsohn; born abt. 1745 in Krempel, Hanover.
Claus had a son, also named Claus Heinsohn; born abt. 1775 in Mehedorf, Hanover, Germany, Claus, Jr. married
Ilsabe Warnken, born abt 1775 in Mehedorf, Hanover
Claus Heinsohn and Ilsabe Warnken had the following children:
Claus Heinsohn; born 9-30-1799 who married Gesche Busch
Ilsabe Heinsohn; born 3-30-1801 in Mehedorf, Hanover
Seba Heinsohn; born 6-17-1803 married Rebecca Fick
Ilsabe Heinsohn; born 9-26-1805 who married
Hein Hinrich (Henry) Schlichting on 4-15-1828 in Mehedorf,
Hanover, Germany
Johann Fredrich Heinsohn; born 4-28-1808 who married
Mette Ulrichs on 2-16-1827 in Bremervörde, Hanover, Germany
and Margarethe Heinsohn who married Hinrich Viets on
4-21-1835 in Fahrendorf, Hanover, Germany.
