I have documents from my family in N.Y.C.dating back to the 1860's-1890's that include the HEINS name. That may have been the original spelling of my familys' name when they arrived from Germany. There is mention of a Michael HINES(1864) & an Adam HEINS(1888),both with NYC addresses(Pitt St.-Stanton St.-Willet St.).There are relations also to the Irons,Wolf and Stroh families. If you have a connection somehow, feel free to let me know.I have a bit more info pertaining to the above.Thank you,George Hines.
