Hello, I'm wondering if you've ever found further information about your Olpe, KS Hines family...??? I live in Topeka, about an hour North of Emporia ( Olpe is just South of Emporia ) ... and I'm wondering if our two Hines families may have some connections...
My family started out in Western KS in Hodgeman & Ford Co., then moved to Barton & Reno Counties... still in KS.

I too have the name Wessel in my tree but not Dorothea.
Please reply if you think we may have some cross information and let's work together.
