I am aware of the research you are referring to.
Principle author of the papers is Preston Hinebaugh (1899-1961) who was born in Germantown, Ohio, and later resided in Columbus, Ohio. Hinebaugh devoted a great amount of his life to researching, corresponding, and writing about the Heimbach family. The papers also contain some work by Ernest Earl Heimbach (d. 1968), an economics professor who was born in Columbia City, Indiana and educated and taught in and around New York City.
My grandfather, Floyd Hinebaugh was in touch with Preston hinebaugh for many years. He is the one who informed us of Elizabeth's maiden name.Other sources support this too.I have other information too.Are related to the hinebughs by the 1805 marriage of Hannah Hinebaugh to John Brunworth?Would enjoy sharing information.
