Thanks. My Gottfried was a Busse who changed his name to Michael in the new country. I think my Hein family was originally from Bavaria or Thuringia before wars and oppression drove them into Posen. Louisa Hein Busse's father was M Hein and her mother Anna Kristen (no last name). Louisa was born in 1833. She had 14 children, 8 died before they emigrated. If you come across that group please let me know. And best wishes on your research!
