My name is Peter Lantelme Heimbach and I am searching for information about my paternal grandfather and great grandfather.
My father is Harold Washington Heimbach who was born in Elizabeth New Jersey on July 9, 1900. His birth certificate did not contain any given names until 29 Dec 1941 when they were added as "facts to be added to Certificate".
He attended Batten High School in Elizabeth NJ and enlisted in the army in 1918.
My grandfather is Harry Washington Heimbach. He died September 1943 probable in Miami Florida. He was married to Grace Elizabeth Gillette who survived him and remarried and died about 1961 to 1963.
The ancestors are reported to have lived in Luzerne County Pennsylvania in the communities of White Haven and Leigh Tannery.
I would appreciate any information on my ancestors that you may have.
