I too am related to Peter Heimbach born 1726 Germany died: Abt. 1785 Somerset County, Pennsylvania married Elizabeth Meyer Abt. 1748It is believed he was married on board the ship Dragon. Peter and Elizabeth arrived in America Peter And Elizabeth sailed For America in June of 1949, on the ship "Dragon".They stopped in Philadelphia 9/29//1749 for the British pledge. He bought land in 1753
The Dragon sailed from Rollerdam with 563 passengers from Palatineate and Zweibruecken.
Coblentz, where the Moselle rolls down from France to join the Rhine.

Six years before, Peter’s brother, Mattes (Mathias) had gone ahead to the new country and had taken up a tract of land about 50 miles west of Philadelphia, where Berks County now borders on Lehigh. On September 30, 1749, Peter Heimbach stepped before the proper authority in Philadelphia and made his oath of allegiance to the British Crown and set forth to join his brother.

I have more information on Peter and others. My line goes Peter to son George *Jacob(, John B., Jonathan, Zenah, Jonathan M., Fliyd, Harold then me.
My email is Georgex41@msn.com. Norma Hinebaugh House from KS
