I'm writing out of curiosity to followup on a message that you posted in 2001. In that message you mentioned that you had taken a picture of the "Heighway Family's coat of arms in Pontesbury Church" and offered to send the photo out. I requested and received a copy. I just visited St. George's Church in Pontesbury, where the Heighway ancestors were quite involved. I couldn't find any Heighway Family coat of arms and the church stewards knew nothing about it either -- possibly it was removed in 2002 when the church had some remodeling done in the interior? I also have received info from another UK source that there wasn't any Heighway Coat of Arms at all. What is your impression?
