Hi, Derwyn
Bit of a long shot. My mother's maiden name was Catherine Walker Heggie Eadie. Her great grandmother was Catherine Walker, born in Edinburgh in 1819. She married James Heggie in Monimail, Fife in 1842. Monimail is just over the River Tay from Dundee. They had ten children, six of whom were girls, and none of whom was named Catherine, which is somewhat unusual considering the Scottish naming pattern and they had ample opportunity to name a girl after her mother. It is possible that I have overlooked the birth of a Catherine Walker Heggie, but she does not appear with the family in the census of 1851, the only one available, if my memory serves, until 1881.
