I was interested to see your list of Heggies.
I have found children of William Heggie and Isabel Gourlay, sometimes Gourlie, in Abbotshall, as follows
Henry - 1750; Robert - 1752; Margaret - 1756; Elizabeth - 1760.
Also, the David that I have record of, born in Kinross, April 1792, is the son of a David. The only David born in June 1769 is the son of Henry Heggie and Christian Moir, Abbotshall, 3/6/1769, which is almost the date you gave for Henry's birth.
There are also David and Amelia, children of David, born/baptised Collessie, 11/6/96 and 2/3/1806, respectively. I am fairly certain that David and Janet Guthrie are buried in Collessie laong with children David and Ann.
I would be interested in your sources so that I could check mine for accuracy.
