Hi,I contacted you back in Oct of 2000 in regards to Jim Heggie. I came across your posted message to Sherry Profitt in Ark, she is my cousin. I am Debbie from Tenn.What I am woundering is the Heggie you speak of being your husbands family I am woundering if this is my GrtGrandfather.This is the info I have on him. He was born around 1864 in Tenn.Montgomery Co.He married around mid 1800. Five children my grandfather was his youngest.Hillman was born 1893 and when he was about 7 yrs William James (aka) Jim Heggie had to leave Tenn because he was mean to his family and sisterinlaws and his wife's family went on a man hunt after him.supposely he went to Ark.I found out he had some family in South bend Ark in the 1860.My sister and I figured he had to leave Tenn in or around 1900. If any of this sounds like the James Heggie you speak of would you let me know? I have searched for him seems like forever.
