I to would like to talk with anyone associated with the Hege name in Salem (Winston-Salem) NC, just after the Civil War. Mr. C. A. Hege & Giles T. Glascock started Salem Argicultural Works in the early 1870s. Giles Glascock, my Great, Great Grandfather would start Glascock Plow & Stove Foundry in Greensboro NC, in 1873. Later to become Glascock Stove & Mfg. Co. Not a lot is known about the Hege / Glascock association. Glascock would contiune to make wood & coal stoves, and other cast iron items until the mid 1960s. Mr. C.A. Hege is known for his Saw Mill Industry machines and I think held some patents for this style of machines.

THANKS,
Nollie Neill, Jr.
