The Arkansas Hefners.
My mother's maiden name was Hefner. Frances Hefner Eaton. She had one brother, Olis and one sister, Mary. Olis died in the mid seventies. My mother died in December 1988. The three children were raised by different relatives because Hattie Hefner died after the flu epedimic and was preceded in death by her husband. They use to run a dry goods store, in Knoble, Arkansas, in the late 1800. Mary married a man by the name of John Rich and they had one son. Olis married a woman named Rose and had two children. I never knew them. Frances married Thurman Eaton and they had six boys and four girls. All of their children are alive except for one son. Frances and Thurman were both dead. Most of the Eaton children live in Paragould, Arkansas, Steelville, MO.Lakeland, Florida, and Tulsa, OK.
