Cousin Jay, here are your relatives in the Magnolia Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. Benjamin
Franklin Hefner was the only son of James W. Hefner 1839 - who died 1864 at Kennesaw Mountain, Georgia. His wife was Louisiana Stansell. She m. 2nd Joseph I. Tate 1842 - 1913 and Benjamin was raised by them. James W. Hefner was the son of John Hefner 1816-1905 and Susannah Wetzel 1810 - 1880. [Cousin Sharon Tate Moody filled in some gaps for me on the Tate and Hefner family. She is a descendant of Joseph Tate and m)2 1866 the widow Louisiana Stansell Hefner 1842-1894. You can find these families in the Gordon County, Georgia Census records 1850-1870 time period. See H-1 in the Hefner DNA study.... This is your line.
