Barbara, I have the 1850 census of Stoddard Co Mo. that shows Martin Hefner as being 54 years old and his wife Mary as 28 which would tally with her birth date 1822. Also it shows a Thomas as 2 years old which tallies with his birth date as 1848. Also the 1870 Stoddard Co. Mo census shows a Martin Hefner as being 80 something with a wife named Susan amd differemt children. Is this the same Martin Hefner E J
