From my research, I have found that Nancy Elizabeth Hefner (9-16-1849) was the daughter of Alexander Joyce Hefner (9-21-1817) and Syrena Sayer (7-18-1818).

Alexander Joyce Hefner was the son of Daniel Hefner (10-28-1778) and Elizabeth Mackey.

Daniel's father was Frederick Hefner.

However, that is as far as I have gotten.

Nancy and John were my great, great, great grandparents.
