A great deal of marriage information concerning the HEFNER surname, and other variations of the spelling, have just been posted in the Lewis Co. WVa. Query Forum <http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/WV/Lewis/638> , by Debbie Ullom. Debbie is doing research for me about the JOHN HEFNER family, through Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness. Some of these HEFNERS, HEFFNERS, HAEFNER, etc. must be related to my John Hefner (m. Polly Roby). I am particularly interested in finding John's siblings. I suspect some of the female HEFNERS listed are sisters. Debbie may be able to help us help each other, she just needs to be reimbursed for the cost of copies and postage. Now would be the time to make a request from her if your "HAEFNERS" are from this neck of the woods, so she can consolidate her time.
