Gentry HEFNER WWII pic

Morning all,

I just received a picture from my wife's grandmother.

The picture was taken during World War II, and the text below is on the back of the picture. It has one man (Gentry HEFNER) stooped over leaning on one who is sitting (Donald HUNT).

"This is me & Gentry HEFNER, one of my buddies from the Canal. He was wounded on Okinawa and rejoined the outfit at Guam. We've had lots of fun together here. He goes home soon. He's got 81 points and has been overseas 33 months. "

This picture is a picture of Donald Earl HUNT (my wife's grandfather) and
Gentry HEFNER. Donald HUNT sent this picture with a letter during the war to
his wife (obviously my wife's grandmother). I've scanned the pic into my
system already, and am willing to email a copy of it to someone who is
related to Gentry HEFNER.

You may email me at:
gemon@unforgettable.com.

Enjoy,
Jim SHREVE Sr.
