Jacob Hafner Sr, Jacob & Barbara Hafner Jr. in Lincoln County, NC 1825

I have a land deed, which confers the title of the land from Jacob Hafner, Sr. to Jacob Hafner, Jr. and his wife Barbara. It is dated December 2, 1825. The land is located on Howard’s Creek. Lawson Henderson and Jesse Jordan are witnesses. I have a strong feeling this is the Jacob HEFNER, who is descended from Melchoir Hefner. However, does anyone have an opinion and/or supporting evidence to confirm or refute my “feeling”? Thank you for your help.
