Does anyone have any information on my great grandfather, Owen Heffernan who was born June 28, 1826 in Tipperary, Ireland. He married Moria Noonan, also from Ireland. He was one of seven brothers. He and five of his brothers came to Canada during the potato famine in 1847. 2 of his brothers supposedly went to the U.S. to live. My great grandfather settled in southeastern Ontario. I have just come back from Ireland and have a renewed interest in my roots!
