Just to update you:

It appears that Martin J Heffernan and Honorah Geagle married in 1875 at the Ballycallan-Kilmanagh Catholic Parish, Diocese of Ossory, Kilkenny Co, Ireland.

Their sons Daniel Joseph (my grandfather) b.13 June 1875 and John b. 02 MAR 1877 also baptised at the same church.
