I have recently discovered my Irish roots. My great great grandmother was Catherine Heenan born approx 1840 in Terryglass/Borrisokane, Tipperary. Her father, according to her marriage certificate, was Michael Heenan, a Farmer. Catherine married in Sheffield England in 1860. That is all I have been able to find at the moment. Most of the information I have on her is from the English Census 1861, 1871 and 1881. I haven't been able to definitely place her in England in the 1851 census so I suspect she went there in the mid 1850's. I would appreciate any help in trying to find more about her and her family. Is there anyone out there who may have come across her in their parish record searches? Any information and suggestions as to where to search is greatly appreciated.
