I am working on putting puzzle pieces together. I have several names in my Heenan line and I am not sure exactly how they fit together. Facts that I do know are: 1.)Thomas Heenan(1) b. 1838 Ireland m. Mary Byerly 1858 Pickaway, Ohio, d. 1894 Pickaway, Ohio. Thomas and Mary had 11 children; Sarah, Mary Belle, Matilda, John H., Theresa, Catherine, Joseph T, James Francis, Charles, Elizabeth & William. 2.)Charles E. Heenan b. abt 1853, m. Mary Hogan, d. 1907 Franklin, Ohio. Charles and Mary had 5 children; John, Charles E. Jr., William, George A. & Mary. 3.)Thomas and Charles are related because George is listed as a nephew in the 1910 census. But in 1880 Anna is listed as Thomas' mother and Charles' death certicate says his mother is Mary and father John. 4.)Enter John Heenan b. Jan 1826,m. Mary Margaret, d. 1909 Franklin, Ohio. 5.)I also have a will for a Thomas Heenan(2) d. 1895 leaving his estate to his father, John. So now it looks like John and Thomas(1) may be brothers. John having sons Charles and Thomas(2). But how do I prove it? Can't find Anna anywhere but 1880 census. Does anyone have any other pieces that might make this puzzle fit?
