I have just learned that my gggggrandmother was Jane HEDLEY. She married John Robson, farmer. One child was Jane/Janet Robson, who married Thomas Wear. One or more of the children of Thoimas and Jane was born in Woodburn, Northumberland. (Example: John Wear, b.1814 in Woodburn). All other references to the families so far are for Ancrum and Hawick, Scotland. Could Jane Hedley and/or John Robson have come from the Woodburn area? Does anyone know this Jane Hedley?
