Looking for info on Hanna (Hannah) Hedges(Hedger) birth unknow but probably around 1810-1820. Married to Alfred Labee (Labbee,L'abe,Labby, LaBee,L'abbe) apprx 1835-6 most likely in Missouri. Hanna probably died in Illinois (Randolph CO) apprx 1845-6. Alfred Labee(Labby Labbee etc)is shown on the 1840 census of that county. In his household he has two small children-boy and girl-under age of five and one female between ages of 20-30. In 1850 Alfred is living in Calhoun CO Ill and married to Martha Jane Reynolds. In their household are Mary and John plus Josephine-born 1847. Thus Hanna would have died after 1840 and before 1846. Children of Hanna Hedges(Hedger) and Alfred Labee (Labbee etc) are:
Marie (Mary) born Dec 30 1836 in Missouri
John B. (could be Jean Baptist) born 1837 in MO or AK
They were living in Old Mine,Washington CO,MO when Marie-Mary was born.
Thanks to info posted to query on the Labbe family board-found out the following:
"Mary Labbee's baptism was recorded at St. Joachim's in Old Mine, Washington Co. MO.:
1837-Aut 27 Labee, Marie, born Dec. 30th last,aughter of Alfred Labee and Hanna Hedger (Hedges). Godparents- Joseph Bischoff and Marie Lathon(Layton).
LDS Film #19339901 Title: English transcription of records of St. Joachim's Old Mine, Missouri, 1820-1858,1881-1885,1895 & tombstone inscritions, ca. 1797-1934."
Any info on Hanna(Hannah)or her husband and children would be greatly appreciated.
