I am a descendent of the Hedges family, my great-grandparents on my father's side were Henry George Hedges (born at sea in the Bay of Bengal 1858) and Harriet Eliza (1866 -?)Their children were:
Harriet Ethel Hedges (22.12.1884-8-3-1965 who married my grandfather Arthur Charles Patrick Handover (17.3.1884-23.7.1941)
Constance (1887-?)Born in India
Ernest (1888-?) born in Fulham, London
Walter (1890-?)born in Whitton, Middlesex
Elsie (1893-?) born in India
Frederick (1897-29.5.1954) born in India
George (1899-1952) born in Isleworth, Middlesex
Bertie (1900-?) born in Middlesex.
Harriet and Arthur had two children:
Ronald 27.3.1921-1928)
Roy Arthur Handover (22.4.1913-26-2.1986) - my father.
apart from my grandmother I did not personally know of any of the Hedges family.
I am tracing the Handover family !!!
