Charles and John Hedden claim to have been Civil War veterans in the 1890 Census for Newark, New Jersey. They did not state who they served with, but I have found two Confederate soldiers by those names who served in the same company and regiment, coincidence?
Can anyone shed some light on these two men's military service, when/where they died, and/or where they are buried?
