John R. Hedden was b. 1728, d. 11 Aug 1812, m. Rachel Allen and had 8 children. He was s/o John Hedden, b. abt 1690, m. 1723 to Hannah Riggs, b. 1707 and had 8 children. He was s/o Edward Hadden/Hedden b. 1664 m. 2nd Jane Jones, b. 1668, d. 23 Feb 1773. Sorry I do not have any locations for these people. My source is an unpublished manuscript written in the 1990s by C. E. Turton of Piscataway, NJ. My guess is that most Haddens/Heddens are related. By the way, Rachel, m. to Daniel Meeker, was b. abt 1769. Joan Turnure
