Mary, I just saw your post about the book you have about the Heddens of North Georgia.
I know that my Great, Great Grandfather, John Hedden and his father Garret Hedden lived next door to each other in Rabun County, GA.
My Great Grandmother Nancy Hedden (Allen) was nine years old at the time of the census I saw. She was born in 1850.
John Hedden married a Sarah Ann Brown and I am so interested in finding out who her parents were. Also, Garret married a woman named UNITY. We think she was Native American.
Do you know anything about it?
