Hi Dave! A couple of followups to my previous message (5/8/03). 1. Anna HEDBERG did not die in Kansas City, Jackson County, MO. Turns out the Bell hospital she died in was located in Rosedale, which is a section of Kansas City, Wyandotte County, Kansas. 2. Lyndon DEDRICK was alive in September 1920. While searching for someone else's obituary, I saw two notes in the Holliday section of the paper stating that Mrs. Ruth Lyons, Kansas City, was visiting Mr. & Mrs. L. D. DEDRICK with her children. So you should be able to find them all, Fred & Anna, Mary Cora Bell & Lyndon; Ruth and ??? in the 1920 census. It is unclear if the Kansas City Ruth lived in was Kansas City, Kansas or Kansas City, Missouri. 3. Fred and Anna's son William F and his family were in Wichita, KS in 1920. 4. Again, based on notes in the Monticello section of the paper, I have made a casual connection between either Fred or Anna and William E HEDBERG who married a Gertrude HOLLENBACK. William was born 1877 in Stockholm, his parents died early and he was raised by his grandmother. He emegrated to the US by himself, served in the Spanish Amertican War, married Gertrude about 1904 and died in 1910. It is not clear what the connection is, but I have noticed the Gertrude was listed as visitng the HEDBERG family in 1920, a couple of times. Dave Goldy Notify Administrator about this message?
