I have completed a family tree of the Hectors in South Wales who stemed from a William Hector (my Great Grandfather) who came from Drayton in Somerset to South Wales during the coal mining rush. His wife was Elizabeth Ann Hector (nee Burnet) who originated from Taunton in Devon. In the 1901 census William Hector was listed as 37 years old and Elizabeth Ann Hector was listed as 34 years old. Both at this time were living in Cardiff. The had 6 children - Matilda Hector - Beatrice Hector - Alice Hector - Thomas Hector - William George Hector and George John Hector (my Grandfather) If this is relevent to your search, please email me for further details.
