Captain (Hector) Moonshine

In "History Of Southeast Missouri" in the chapter on "Indians" it reads, One of the famous chiefs of these Indians was Captain Moonshine whose son, Billy Moonshine, appeared in the battle of Big River during the Civil war. We know that Moonshine is the Clan name for these two HECTOR men and they are of the Cherokee Tribe.Would anyone know who Captain Moonshine is? Missouri Census of 1830, Cape Girardeau, page 433 it list William Hector. On page 453 it list another William Hector. There is also a Gilbert Hector in Cape or New Madrid County. Would anyone know which of these men is Captian Moonshine? Pat Norman
