I am searching for information about my father's family. Walter Hess Heckman b.1939, d.2002. His father was Walter Dunlap Heckman m. Mary Belle Hess of Boiling Springs, PA. My mother tells me the Heckman's are from Minersville, PA. W.H. Heckman has a sister June Brenneman, and a deceased sister Caroline Cole. Mary Belle Hess had a sister Betty (married a Conger), brother Richard, and 2 more sisters Lillian (married a Lukens) and Dorothy (married a Bensel). If anyone has more information on this line of Heckmans, please post here. I would like to trace my history at least as far back as the first Heckmans to arrive in America.
