Her name was Valeria in the census with Samuel Groh but was listed as Maleria in 1850 and as Sarah M. in 1860. Her parents were Charles and Esther Heckman with siblings Emeline, Elenora, Carolina, Gorman, and Susan. The Grohs are in West Leesport in 1880. Sam's parents were Henry and Mary Groh. Sam born July 1846 PA, Valeria b. Dec 1848 PA. Can't explain the name change except maybe personal preference. Charles Heckman is living in Shoemakersville in 1880 next door to Ephraim Heckman who may be a brother.
