I saw that you are seeking information on a John J. Heckman. I have some very limited info on him.
He was my great-grandfather's brother. His name was John Joseph Heckman. He was born 1/21/1871 and died in 1947 in St. Charles MO. He was married to a woman named Mary Beffa.
Edward J. Heckman was actually John's nephew, not his brother. Edward was the son of Leonard G. & Anna Schulte Heckman. He was born 3/8/1889 in St. Charles, MO and died 1/2/62 in St. Charles, MO. He was married to Anna Leonard Heckman and they had one daughter, Marcella. I believe Marcella was known as Sally. The last I heard she lived in the Chicago area and was married to a man with the last name of Harmon. I have a copy of a picture of Edward, his father, Leonard, and his 4 brothers and also some pictures of Sally.
I may be able to find out some more info if you need it. My mom remembers a lot of dad's family & I can also check at the cemetery where my dad is buried--there are a lot of Heckmans buried there.
