Hi,
I'm looking for the military record of Philip Heckert. He was born October 15, 1744 in Wurttemburg, Germany. Settled in Berks County and died on Sep 18, 1803 in Linglestown, PA. Philip is buried in the Wenrich Church cemetery. According to the digitil archives of Pennsylvania he was inactive 1776-1782. Is this true? Did he see active duty? He married Anna marie Hain.
